There are two minutes left on the Coach Sam Budnyk Stadium scoreboard. The Crusader football team has the ball and needs a first down to seal the victory…….The Crusader student section is full of Blue and Gold. The mascot is working the sidelines during Basketball Senior Night, and all 4 of our senior girls basketball players take the floor to a standing ovation from the fans……..the Spring breeze is blowing out at the lacrosse field and our two varsity lacrosse teams board their bus to travel across the state for their regional FHSAA matchups…

Whatever the situation our teams may find themselves in, the history of Cardinal Newman athletics speaks for itself. My name is Reilly Campbell, the Athletic Director of Cardinal Newman High School, since July of 2022. Upon getting to campus, I have been so impressed with the support of our entire school community, focused on helping each of our teams achieve their best. I am excited to continue to honor the past athletic accomplishments of CNHS, helping our current student-athletes achieve all of their goals, and building for a stronger future of the next generation of Crusader athletes!

With 15 varsity sports and over 30 teams currently offered at CNHS, the Cardinal Newman athletic community is rich with 60+ years of tradition and legacy across all of South Florida. Crusader athletics remains an important piece of the whole experience at Cardinal Newman High School! In line with our mission of educating the whole person in Spirit, Mind, and Body, I and all of our coaches are dedicated to helping shape each of our Cardinal Newman student-athletes to be their best on and off the field/court and being well-rounded high character leaders in this community.

If you are here because you are trying to find more information on a CN team or if you are with the visiting team and you need an address, my hope is that you will enjoy your interactions with Cardinal Newman High School athletics and I hope to see you at one of our games!

Go Crusaders,
Coach Reilly Campbell
