Appreciation reception honors the underwriters behind Newman Night 2027

More than 70 Cardinal Newman High School (CNHS) supporters gathered at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach on November 4 for an underwriter appreciation reception. Newman Night Co-Chairs Kelly Algonas, Hope D’Alessandro-Forte, and Jackie Marvin welcomed guests, including Honorary Chairs Erin and Dennis Shea, for an evening celebrating their generosity and commitment to the school.

Reflecting the upcoming gala’s American theme, the reception drew inspiration from Jackie O’s timeless elegance. A canopy of glowing string lights, pink linens, roses in shades of pink and white, flickering candles, and peacock chairs created a magical setting in The Colony’s lush courtyard. The evening captured the warmth of the Newman family, a community united by friendship, generosity, and a shared commitment to helping students thrive.

“An evening like this reminds us how fortunate we are to have such a caring and committed Newman family,” said CNHS President Charles Stembler. “Our Newman family comes together with extraordinary generosity and a shared belief in our mission. We are grateful to everyone helping our students build their futures.”

Newman Night 2027: The American Dream, Guided by God’s Grace, will take place on March 13, 2027, at the Kravis Center, continuing the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
