On May 27, members of the Cardinal Newman community gathered at LaMarina for the annual 1961 Club President’s Dinner, an evening dedicated to celebrating the generosity, commitment, and spirit of those who support the school through the Annual Crusader Fund.

Guests enjoyed a beautiful evening filled with great food, meaningful conversations, laughter, and fellowship. The event provided an opportunity to thank the dedicated donors whose support helps advance Cardinal Newman’s mission and enrich the educational experience of every student.

A special thank you goes to Nick and Carissa Coniglio for graciously hosting the event and creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their hospitality helped make the evening truly memorable.

The 1961 Club recognizes donors who contribute $1,961 or more annually to the Annual Crusader Fund. In appreciation of their generosity, members receive a commemorative gift and are invited to this exclusive annual celebration.

Most importantly, the evening served as a reminder of the powerful impact philanthropy has on the Cardinal Newman community. The support of 1961 Club members strengthens Catholic education, enhances opportunities for students, and helps ensure the continued success of the school for future generations.

As participation continues to grow, so does the excitement surrounding this special tradition. The event has become so popular that it has officially outgrown its current venue, and plans are already underway to host next year’s President’s Dinner at Cucina.

Thank you to all of our 1961 Club members for your generosity, partnership, and belief in Cardinal Newman. We look forward to welcoming even more supporters to the table in 2027 as we continue to build on this tradition of giving.

Cheers to generosity, community, and the Cardinal Newman family.
